Mari Taylor
I am a passionate landscape designer, specialized gardener, and artist. I've been working with California native plants for over 10 years and creating art all my life. I am driven to create beauty in the world, whether it be in a garden or a painting.
Equally important to beauty is a healthy ecosystem. In fact, I would argue that the two are inseparable. My goal is to create landscapes that work in harmony with nature and act as regenerative forces for the planet. I believe that such spaces serve to heal people as well as the environment. I graduated with a B.A. in Environmental Studies/Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I worked for the Theodore Payne Foundation for Wildflowers and Native Plants, followed by the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles, before starting my own business. Residing on Tongva land (aka North-East Los Angeles). |
